What Is Home Exclusion?
Home exclusion is the permanent fix. Trapping removes the animals currently inside your home — but if the entry points stay open, new animals move in within days or weeks. Exclusion closes every gap, crack, and opening that rodents, raccoons, squirrels, and birds use to access your structure.
Done right, exclusion is a one-time solution. Done wrong, it's an ongoing expense. Sully's uses commercial-grade materials and a systematic inspection process that identifies entry points other companies miss.

Note — Pipe Penetrations
Pipe penetrations are not included in our exclusion scope and will be noted as a stipulation on your invoice. Sealing around plumbing lines requires a licensed plumber — we'll identify them during inspection and let you know exactly what needs to be addressed.

What Is a Smoke Test?
Most people think rodents only enter through gaps in the roof, soffits, or foundation. What they don't know is that rats can — and do — enter homes through the drainage and sewer system.
Rats are excellent swimmers. They can travel through sewer lines, locate cracked or deteriorating PVC pipes beneath your home, and chew their way through into the wall cavity or subfloor. From there, they move freely through the interior walls and up into the attic. By the time you hear them, they've already been inside for a while.
A smoke test identifies these hidden entry points. We introduce non-toxic smoke into the drain system — anywhere smoke escapes inside the structure reveals a breach in the plumbing that rodents can use to gain access. These points are documented and noted on your inspection report so a licensed plumber can address them.

Plumbing repairs identified by a smoke test are the responsibility of the homeowner and require a licensed plumber. Sully's documents the breach points and coordinates the information — we do not perform plumbing work.

For roofline and fascia entry points — durable, rodent-proof, and built to last.

We do not use foam or temporary sealants. Every material we install is permanent, rodent-proof, and built to hold up in Florida's climate.
